Port of Brisbane – Limited Operations Resume

In an update issued at 1645hr on Sunday, 9 March, the Port of Brisbane advised that there have been no reports of serious storm damage or severe weather impacts on port infrastructure, and that access to the Port’s landside facilities is unhindered.

Sunday – the Regional Harbour Master shifted status from “Red” to “Yellow” allowing some vessel movements within the channel area.

The Port has also observed that due to the region expecting to receive very large volumes of rainfall over the coming days, adding to the already large volumes of surface water on roads, all port stakeholders should stay off the road if possible. If vehicle movements are required, please use extra caution over the days ahead.
