China Public Holiday – Dragon Boat Festival 2025

Offices in China will be closed for the Dragon Boat Festival from Saturday 31/05/25 through to Monday 02/06/25, re-opening Tuesday 03/06/25.

The Dragon Boat Festival is a traditional Chinese holiday that commemorates Qu Yuan who was the beloved prime minister of the southern Chinese stage of Chu during the Warring States period, about 600 B.C. to 200 B.C., and is celebrated by holding dragon boat races and eating sticky rice dumplings called zongzi, which were southern Chinese traditions.
